7/8/21 – ELA – R.A.C.E. Strategy and Biographical Poem

Today we learned how to use the R.A.C.E. strategy to help up create well rounded answers for short response questions. Short answer responses will be a big focus this summer and going forward in all subjects throughout middle school. We also started our Biographical Poems about a person we chose during class time. Tonight’s homework will be to input our complete Bio Poem into the google form at the bottom of this page and then to create a visually appealing version of our poem by including images, drawing pictures, creating a poster, or by any other creative medium you can think of around the written poem we create. This can be done digitally or on paper. Please email me a picture, scanned copy, or file of your completed and decorated poem.
